Manages an OpenVZ Virtual Environment (VE)
Synopsis
ManageVE [start | stop | status | monitor | migrate_to | migrate_from | meta-data | validate-all]
Description
This OCF compliant resource agent manages OpenVZ VEs and thus requires a proper OpenVZ installation including a recent vzctl util.
This resource agent may be configured for native migration if available in the cluster manager. For Pacemaker, the allow-migrate="true" meta attribute enables native migration.
Supported Parameters
- veid
OpenVZ ID of virtual environment (see output of vzlist -a for all assigned IDs)
(required, integer, no default)
Supported Actions
This resource agent supports the following actions (operations):
- start
Starts the resource. Suggested minimum timeout: 75s.
- stop
Stops the resource. Suggested minimum timeout: 75s.
- status
Performs a status check. Suggested minimum timeout: 10s. Suggested interval: 10s.
- monitor
Performs a detailed status check. Suggested minimum timeout: 10s. Suggested interval: 10s.
- migrate_to
Executes steps necessary for migrating the resource to the node. Suggested minimum timeout: 75s.
- migrate_from
Executes steps necessary for migrating the resource away from the node. Suggested minimum timeout: 75s.
- validate-all
Performs a validation of the resource configuration. Suggested minimum timeout: 5s.
- meta-data
Retrieves resource agent metadata (internal use only). Suggested minimum timeout: 5s.

The following is an example configuration for a ManageVE resource using the crm(8) shell:
primitive p_ManageVE ocf:heartbeat:ManageVE \ params \ veid=integer \ meta allow-migrate="true" \ op monitor depth="0" timeout="10s" interval="10s"
