parse human-readable boolean strings for nbdkit

Synopsis

 #include <nbdkit-plugin.h>

 int nbdkit_parse_bool (const char *str);

Description

Use the nbdkit_parse_bool utility function to parse human-readable strings such as "on", "off", "true", "no" etc into a boolean value.

Return Value

The function returns 0 or 1 if the parse was successful.

If there is an error it calls nbdkit_error(3) and returns -1.

In nbdkit-ocaml-plugin(3):

 NBDKit.parse_bool : string -> bool

In nbdkit-rust-plugin(3):

 use nbdkit::*;
 pub fn parse_bool(s: &str) -> Result<bool>
