nvme-boot-part-log - Man Page

nvme boot-part-log <device> [--lsp=<field> | -s <field>]
                        [--output-file=<file> | -f <file>]
                        [--output-format=<fmt> | -o <fmt>] [--verbose | -v]

Retrieves an Boot Partition log page from an NVMe device and provides the returned structure​.

The <device> parameter is mandatory and may be either the NVMe character device (ex: /dev/nvme0), or a namespace block device (ex: /dev/nvme0n1)​.

On success, the returned log structure will be in raw binary format only with --output-file option which is mandatory​.

-s <field>, --lsp=<field>

The log specified field of LID​.

-f <file>, --output-file=<file>

File name to which raw binary data will be saved to​.

-o <fmt>, --output-format=<fmt>

Set the reporting format to normal, json or binary​. Only one output format can be used at a time​.

-v,  --verbose

Increase the information detail in the output​.
