• List all Docker images: docker images
• List all Docker images including intermediates: docker images --all
• List the output in quiet mode (only numeric IDs): docker images --quiet
• List all Docker images not used by any container: docker images --filter dangling=true

• Sort images by size: docker images --format "\{\{.ID\}\}\t\{\{.Size\}\}\t\{\{.Repository\}\}:\{\{.Tag\}\}" | sort -k 2 -h

Alias for docker image ls.

-a, --all[=false] Show all images (default hides intermediate images)

--digests[=false] Show digests

-f, --filter= Filter output based on conditions provided

--format="" Format output using a custom template: 'table':            Print output in table format with column headers (default) 'table TEMPLATE':   Print output in table format using the given Go template 'json':             Print in JSON format 'TEMPLATE':         Print output using the given Go template. -h, --help[=false] help for images

--no-trunc[=false] Don't truncate output

-q, --quiet[=false] Only show image IDs
